About the Rally
Rally on the Rio was originally started in 2002 with the support of ABATE D20 and had been growing every year. After the rally in 2006 the rally lost the support of ABATE D20, this is when we decided to keep this great event alive and work with private local sponsors. Thus, Rally on the Rio Grande was born.
The Town of Del Norte has graciously donated $1,000 to go toward the fireworks show this year which is greatly appreciated. We are hoping, this year, that we can raise enough money to help with a GOCO grant with the town to install a 36 foot gazebo in the park where the rally takes place. The gazebo should be a great place for entertainment for anyone to use in the parks. This event is growing daily with input from all of you. We are not only adding some great new events but we have a group of people, veterans and new riders, that are eager to see this rally be an all out BLAST!!!!!! We are still looking for people to help with the rally and also looking for donations. If you would be interested in helping out in any way please email us.
